I`d get spinning wheel when quitting LR Classic

Activity monitor says LR doesn´t respond (crash?) and use some CPU load

But after 30 seconds the program finally quit

Any ideas?

Yes, I have reset prefs, optimised cat file

Mac Sonoma, last LR

Hey, @Finn S Felberg. Thanks for sharing the details. I'll help you figure this out.

What is the exact version of Lightroom Classic? Where do you keep your Lightroom catalog? On an internal or external drive? Do you have a recent catalog backup?

Try these suggestions:

1 - Move the catalog from the to a non-syncing, local folder on your MacBook machine.

2 - Launch Lightroom Classic with a new catalog from File > New catalog & then go to File > Import from catalog > target your old catalog. Proceed with merging the catalog into the newly made, internal storage-based catalog. For more help via video-based steps, check here. See https://adobe.ly/3NTC9Rv

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
