Spot removal tool in Lightroom CC

I have the latest update of Lightroom CC Classic and I am mystified because I no longer see the second circle, i.e. where the tool is sampling from, whether I am using it in the Heal or Clone mode. I have been checking in vain whether I changed a setting without realizing :-((

Check the visibility settings in the lower left corner below the image.
