STOP Remove Tool From Regenerating Content When Selecting A Pre-Existing Brush Point

When I open the Remove Tool and select a pre-existing brush point it will re-initialize "Removing Area Using AI" and it will attempt to generate new content before I inevitably have to move my cursor to cancel it.  Sometimes clicking a brush point will trigger this behavior other times it won't. It's not consistent and impossible to figure out when it will or won't happen. Simply clicking the brush points should not trigger generating new content. Sometimes, I'm just selecting the brush point to then edit the mask by adding or subtracting from it. Triggering regeneration of the content means I'm having to waste clicks canceling it every time I'm attempting to edit the mask. It's really, really annoying!!!!!!

I've seen it occasionally and find it annoying, but I haven't been able to reproduce it reliably either. Without a way to make it happen fairly reliably, Adobe is unlikely to pay much attention (based on my years of filing bug reports).

One scenario that might be causing this: If I move the mouse just a tiny bit after pushing the mouse button down but before releasing it, LR thinks I've moved the Remove icon and thus will (rightly) regenerate it. So maybe the instances I'm observing occur when I'm working quickly and the mouse jiggles ever so slightly as I click.
