Hi, I used to have the full creative suite, then I switched to the photography plan with 20gb. This was less storage than what I had before. I just upgraded my storage back to 1tb, will my files come back or is there some way to get them back from the adobe cloud?

When you switched to the photography plan, were you ever notified by Creative Cloud that you had exceeded its 20Gb quota? If not, you are probably fine.

If so, there would I believe have been a grace period then during which you could download everything. IIRC there is also an opportunity to do so when you terminate a Creative Cloud account: for of the order of a month after the normal access stops, if I have that right.

Adobe would surely have no obligation, nor even your own stated permission, to retain your data beyond this.

Much of the typical syncing of Lightroom Classic into Creative Cloud, does not consume any of your CC storage allowance - consisting of Smart Previews only, which are not counted. It will be more a matter of any photos uploaded into Lightroom (cloud, not classic) or else that have been copy-synced from e.g. a portable device where they were originally taken, down into Lr Classic's local storage - in which instances as I understand it, a full version of the image will be held in CC which does count towards your storage quota.
