Straighten Tool loses accuracy

When using the Straighten Tool with Preferences > Interface > Font Size set to 200% or greater, the tool fails to accurately place the first point where the crosshair indicates.  Instead, it shifts it up and left a couple of millimetres rendering the placement of the second point completely arbitrary and the accuracy of the tool hopeless. 

For me personally, the size of the Lightroom interface font is way too small and I need to have the font at 200% to work comfortably so either I have to forfeit the use of the Straighten tool or squint to see the interface clearly.  Hoping the gurus can fix it so all font sizes are compatible with the accurate us of the Straighten Tool (and maybe even there's a wider range of font sizes to pick from.......a sliding scale of size would be the ideal........just saying!)
