Strange colour shifts when trying to correct chromatic abberations manually

So i have this problem where when i try to manually correct chromatic abberations lightroom makes it worse, here are some examples:

The manual chromatic abberation correction will do this to any color edge that is close to the color you chose. In this case you must have chosen a color close to the blue in the shirt and it will desaturate that color at strong edges with that color. This is how the tool works, so unavoidable. In this case, why are you even doing CA correction as there is little of it in the original image?

Please explain the steps you used to make these corrections to the chromatic aberration. Also please state the version NUMBER of your Lightroom.
