Guys I have a super annoying issue on last version of LR Classic.

First release of Classic was not affected by this issue...

I recorded a video to be quicker and cristal clear 😉

VIDEO of the weird issue : LR Classic Issue - Healing brush lag - YouTube

I have to say that beyond this issue my performances using GPU acceleration are not a lot better than without it...

I'm afraid that despite Adobe claiming Lightroom Classic has "responsive brushing", if you have a 4K or larger monitor turning on GPU acceleration still makes it slower. And the more brushing you do, the slower it gets. That's just the facts of life with Lightroom.

Some things you can do to improve brushing speed:

  • Make sure the GPU acceleration is turned off.
  • Do the brushing as the next to last editing step, and then as the last editing step, turn on Lens Corrections and transforms
  • Use PHotoshop or PHotoshop Elements to do the brushing
  • Get a faster CPU
