Suddenly my external hard drives are not showing

Somehow all of a sudden today I can't access several external hard drives that I always access for my images. I'm working on a Chritmas gift project and several hard drives no longer show under Folders. WTH??? help!

The fact that they're not showing at all (even if offline) in the Folders Panel likely means one of two things have happened:

1. You've opened an incorrect catalog.

2. You've somehow removed the images that those drives contained from the catalog.

Both of which seem unlikely if you were using them earlier today.

I guess a third option could be a corrupt catalog or a currently messed-up system. Have you tried closing LrC, rebooting the Mac and restarting LrC again?

Are they the OWC mercury and Seagate 4TB drives? Lightroom seems to think they are offline. So somehow they got unmounted

It is not those two. I even unplugged the other two and remounted. I use them every day, including this morning. Now they stopped showing. I'm so inadequate with this tech stuff :0(
