I have a Surface Book 3 latptop running Windows 11 Home. Is my laptop out of date for the latest copies of LR and PS, or is there something I can do? Thanks!

Nowhere in your message does it say the version NUMBER of your Lightroom or Lightroom Classic. Please let us know (and we need the version NUMBER and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date").

Please tell us what actions in LrC are slow. Please be specific and detailed.

Intel i7 @ 1.30GHz

What is the exact model number of this CPU? If it runs at 1.30Ghz and you have a 3240x2160 monitor, I can see how it might be slow, although of course there are other possible causes.

Also please tell us the size of your original photos in pixels, width and height (not in megabytes).

Hi @FinsFan

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating this situation can be. It looks like your NVidia driver has updates available, so please try updating to the latest version. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, you might want to manually reset your preferences after creating a backup. You can find the steps here: https://adobe.ly/4qKD2wC
