Switching from PC to MAC

I have Lightroom Classic CC on a PC running Windows 10.

I am looking to change copmputers and move to a new iMac.

How do I move my photos safely to the Mac so I don't mess up what I have in Lightroom?

Step by step idiot-proof directions would be the most helpful.
