Sync issues with TIF-files

Here's my problem:

I imported photos from a DSLR to LR on my laptop

I edited some of them in PS on the laptop, creating TIF-files in 16-bit ProPhotoRGB

All shots sync correctly to my LrC on the desktop

I edit the TIF-files on the desktop

LrC reports Error for the TIF-files but all other files sync correctly in both directions

I have used Rebuild Sync Data but it didn't change anything

I have tried double-clicking the arrow with tree dots on the pictures with errors, but it does nothing

Laptop: Windows 10, LR 7.0 and PS 25.1

Desktop: Windows 10, LrC 13.0.1 and PS 25.1

How to solve this?

Correct answer Rikk Flohr_Photography

Lightroom Classic has a limit on syncing images >200MB. If the file comes into the Cloud first and then down to Classic, is edited, and is attempted to sync back to the cloud, it will fail if the file is, or has grown, to over 200MB.

It isn't clear to me from your description that is the order you are following but it is likely the limitation you are running into.

Thanks,

Yes, that's the problem. Two of these files where over 200 MB all the time, two grew over the limit on the LrC-desktop.

PS. More descriptive error messages would save time for both users and Adobe support staff.
