Sync LR Mobile to LR Classic

I took my iPad on vacation and used LR Mobile to upload and edit photos.  I expected my photos to sync to LR Classic so that I could retrieve them and resume working on them when I returned home. They synced to to the cloud, but not from the cloud to LR Classic.  Sync is turned on in LR Classic.  I had my photos in folders, not collections.  Is that my problem, or is it something else? Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

    "Sync is turned on in LR Classic"- Then the photos should be downloading, if signed in with the same Adobe identity .

    The downloads will not create Folders that mirror Albums in Lr, but in LrC but you can specify 'dated' folders in the LrC Preference > Lightroom Sync > Location.
