Sync settings between images slow and synced image does not update preview

After updating to 11.3 sync settings is very slow and the synced image does not update the preview in Library module. Preview updates after restarting LR though.

This is a problem on two of my Windows PC's after updating to 11.3.

There have been a number of reports about this. Unfortunately, without a reliable way of reproducing the problem, Adobe is unlikely to make much progress in fixing it. LR 11.3.1 was just released -- if the problem still occurs with 11.3.1, please post back with more details.
