Synced collections ( w/ photos) shows up as albums without photos

I've been syncing Classic collections to web/mobile application albums for a long time. I have recently experienced a new issue. When adding a new synced collection (+photos), this collection shows up as an album (in Web/mobile) but with no photos in it . The photos do however show up under 'All photos' and can manually be moved into the album. Any tips on how to solve this?
