Question

    Hi @FYTY,

Apologies for the delayed response, and thank you for your patience.

We’re investigating similar synchronization issues in Lightroom Classic 15.6. Since the troubleshooting you’ve already tried hasn’t helped, I’d like to collect additional logs for our engineering team.

Could you please follow these steps on your Mac?

    1. Close Lightroom Classic.

    2. Place the attached config.lua file in:
      /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/

    3. Restart Lightroom Classic and let it run for at least 15 minutes while attempting to sync. You can also try editing a few photos in synced collections to generate the logs.

    4. Once finished, click on Show in Finder (by default saved on Desktop), and upload the diagnostic log zip file to Google Drive, Dropbox, or a similar service.

Please send me the download link via private message so I can share the logs with our engineering team.

Thanks again for your patience and cooperation.

    Best,
    Anshul Saini

Hi @FYTY , Welcome to the Lightroom Community forum! To better help you with this issue, we would like a few more details. Can you send your system info, a screen recording of the issue, and a numbered list of the exact steps needed to reproduce it? You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here.

In the meantime, I would recommend trying these basic troubleshooting steps:

    1. Clear your cache: Go to the top menu and open Preferences (Edit > Preferences on Windows, or Lightroom > Preferences on macOS). Click the Cache tab, then look for the option to Clear Cache or to adjust the maximum size allowed for stored originals and previews. Remember to check if your cloud sync is fully updated and active before clearing space, so you do not lose unsynced work

    2. Reset Lightroom Classic Preferences: Please refer to this Helpx article for steps.  https://adobe.ly/3HsQXpA It is recommended to back up your catalog before resetting preferences. You may refer to this article for more information:  https://adobe.ly/4dW8vqF.

    3. Use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to reinstall:  https://adobe.ly/4hlMWmH

If none of these steps work for you, please send over the requested information so we can continue troubleshooting. I hope this helps! ^CH
