Synchronise problem in LR

I have the follwoing structure on Pictures folder on my Mac Book: Folder Work in Progress, contained in Pictures Folder.

When I select Work in Porgess and Synchronize it , Lightroom syncronizes all the Pictues Folder and not just Work in Progress.

Which versioon of Lightroom are you actually using?

Lightroom Classic (LrC icon) or Lightroom Desktop (Lr icon)
