Syncing images question

Question

A simple question (?) just want to make sure I understand how things work.....

After syncing a collection of images from LrC (to be used in Adobe Portfolio), if I turn off the sync, the files in Lightrrom.Adobe.com will remain, but just not be updated with any subsequent edits.

Is that correct?

Running ver 13.2 on a PC

Yes, that is correct.

For purposes of Portfolio, even if new changes ARE syncing to cloud from Lighroom Classic - and your web galleries are constantly updating themselves on the fly - photos inside your Portfolio site will still not dynamically update themselves.

That only happens on demand::

when you edit the Portfolio site, and actively tell it to refresh its photo content to match the current state of your collection in the cloud.
