syncing in lightroom classic

I am still having problems with syncing photos in lightroom.  I have watched all the videos and read the troubleshooting guides and am finding none of this has helped.  The problem was that I was always getting a sync error and it always said it was syncing 65 photos.  Everytime I would close out of LR it would tell me these 65 photos were still syncing.  The web file showed no NO photos when I would try to find which ones it was hanging up on.  I just when through and unchecked all photos so nothing should be syncing.  Initiall I got the green check on the cloud icon telling me I was good.  But I started the sync again, still with no photos selected as I just wanted to see what it would do.  Now it is telling me again I have a sync error and it is trying to sync 65 photos again.  I am really frustracted at this poing.
