win 8.1 pro

64 bit operating system

    So yes, I agree with the others, Lightroom will run on that system — SLOWLY.

    If you have a large screen (4K or greater) monitor, don't bother, you are wasting your time and money with that computer.

    If you have large images (20MP or larger), don't bother, you are wasting your time and money with that computer.

    If you are going to be doing intensive processing on your images (examples include: HDR, Panorama, lots of brushing, lots of spot healing), don't bother, you are wasting your time and money with that computer.

    In addition to what Joe said ..

    Your internal GPU is not supported for acceleration and the i3 is a rather slow CPU.

    Therefore, if you are using a display with a higher resolution be prepared for it to be rather slow, especially in the develop module.

    Yes, it will run.

    How quickly it will run may depend on how many megapixels your camera is, given that 8GB of memory is not that much these days.
