Tether no longer works after Monterey Update (12.6)

My macbook pro did an automatic software update to monterey 12.6 and it no longer lets me tether in lightroom with my Canon R5 or R6.   It tells me to relaunch in rosetta mode, which I do, but it still doesn't detect my camera.   Anyone have any suggestions?  Lightroom is updated.  As is my canon r5 & r6 software.   Help!!!
