Tether - unable to detect camera

Hi guys,
i'm experiencing trouble with detecting my Canon 5D Mark IV for tethered shooting in Lightroom Classic.
I did literally everything i could and everything they have in "Learn more" help section but nothing helps.
I was doing tethering in my studio for years but it just suddenly stoped working few days ago.
I'm using Macbook Pro with M1 Pro chip and everything is up to date. (mac os, camera, lightroom etc.)
Did anyone had same issue with successful solution?
Have a great day.

Hello,
since I updated my MacBook Pro M2 to Sequoia 15.3.1, tethering with my Nikon D850 on LR Classic 14.2 no longer works. There is no connection, the camera and the cable work fine on my other computer with Ventura 13.7.1 and LRC 14.2. Does anyone have an idea how I could fix this please?
Many Thanks, Fred

Hey, @David37291469otz3. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Here are a few other things you can check:

1—Do you also use the Canon EOS utility on the machine? Does the EOS utility recognize the camera?

2—Is there a storage card inside the camera? As a test, remove it and restart the camera while it is connected to your laptop, then wait for Lightroom Classic to detect it again.

Let me know how it goes from here,

Thanks!

Hello @Sameer K ,
Yes i can confirm that EOS Utility detect the camera immediatelly and it's fully functional.
I also tried all possibilities with removing one of each cards or both in the same time, restarting program and laptop before or after camera detection but nothing works.
The thing is that before when it used to work i didnt pay attention to any of these things. Once i wanted to start tethering it was working regardless.
Thank you for trying to sort this out for me. I'm not 100% sure but i have a feeling that it stoped working after i updated my laptop to newest MacOS Sequoia.

Thanks for sharing this. A new version of Lightroom Classic, v14.1.1, was recently released. Did it solve the problem?

If not, try these troubleshooting steps: https://adobe.ly/49VALaz
