Tethered Camera Not Detected in LR Classic

I have a Canon 5D MKIII (yeah I know it's an older camera now) and I'm running LR Classic 13.1 on a Mac Studio running Sonoma 14.2.

I want to tether the camera to LR but when I go to tethered capture it just keeps trying to detect the camera and never does. Using the same computer, same camera, same cable, if I launch Capture One Pro, it instantly see's the camera and works perfectly tethered. I've never tried tethering in LR only Capture One, so what am I missing?

Adobe say that the 5D MKIII is still supported but that it needs a memory card to be in the camera. I have both a CF and an SD card installed in the camera and yet it still won't detect. I don't know what else to try.

Ahh Thank You! I thought I was going mad. I even download Canon Utility and found that this also could detect the camera and operate it tethered. I tried setting up a watched folder in LR but it's just not the same. Well, hopefully a fix will come sooner rather than later. Until then I'll have to use Capture One.

I don't know for certain, but I did see a report that tethering in Capture One is also broken in Sonoma 14.2.
