Tethering Canon R6M2 doesnt work on MAC

I cant use tethering on my 16" Macbook Pro M1 MAX with my Canon R6M2

It's as if the program doesn't recognize the camera. It's permanently in the mode where it searches for a connection.

However, when I use Canon's own software, it works.

Software on Camera. LR and Mac are the newest Version

Hi @17279115

I wanted to confirm that you are referring to the Canon EOS R6 Mark II, which was officially released in November 2022. If that is correct, then Lightroom does support tethering as of Lightroom Classic 13.3, according to this article: https://adobe.ly/3YPLwGQ

Please share your System Info. You can find it by going to Help > System Info, then copying and pasting it into a text file, which you will attach to your response. This will help us rule out any possible system issues.

Also, check out this post regarding a similar issue: https://adobe.ly/49Hq37X

Looking forward to your response.

Yes, I mean the Canon R6M2.

My Macbook Pro uses macOS Tahoe version 26.2 (25C56).
There is no further information about the system.

Or do you mean the system report?

Thank you for confirming the camera model. Yes, System info is from Lightroom Classic. You can find this by selecting Help > System Info in Lightroom.
