Tethering Images from canon 6d not working

I've tethered my Canon 6d to Lightroom (13.2) and everything is connecting just fine but when I shoot the image only saves to my camera SD card but doesn't appear on my computer or Lightroom at all. 

Live view works and I can change the settings of my camera through tethering, I can't see any final images in my lightroom.

What I've done to try to fix it 

-Resetting my preferences and relaunching lightroom, didn't work.

-Checked if using EOS Utilities would save my images onto both laptop and sd card, it does. 

-downloaded Lightroom v.13.0 and tried tethering, didn't work. 

-I initially thought it was because I uploaded the catalogue to the cloud as a backup affected the tethering but I don't think so. 

Does anyone using Canon have any problems with their Lightroom tethering?
