tethering not working with Mac OS 13.1 Lightroom 12.1 and Canon R5 / Canon 5D Mark iv

Hello,

i have a compatibility problem with the following set up / using: Mac Os Ventura 13.1. (macbook 15 pro late 2018) with Lightroom 12.1. and the cameras Canon R5 & Canon 5D Mark iv - no connection when i try to tether. Even Eos Utility 3.0 doesn't open automaticly. Raw Converter is the latest version on board.
6 weeks before it worked but just for a few minutes. Does somebody has an idea or the same probs? Thanks from Germany, Patrick

To expand on what John R Ellis has advised.

There are known issues with LrC and macOS 13 Ventura. See the screen capture for unresolved issues.

LR has had problems on Mac OS 13 communicating with cameras and phones via USB, but most of the reported problems are with Nikons.  For next troubleshooting steps, see:
