Question

Tethering stopped working on laptop

Hi everyone,

Since last week when lightroom cc upgraded to version 14.0.1, the tethering with the Nikon d850 stopped working properly on the laptop, while on the desktop it works fine. It sees the camera, I can do all the settings, even live view, but when I take the photo it doesn't appear at all and the message “A captured file could not be saved. Your drive may be full, or may no longer be accessible. Chose New Destination". Of course none of this is true. I tried with digiCamControl and it works fine. Can someone tell me what's going on?

I also posted back in November with the “A captured file could not be saved. Your drive may be full, or may no longer be accessible. Chose New Destination" error with Lightroom and the D750.  No solution yet.

Hi Everyone! Did anybody get a solution for this problem? I have the same issue, It's been months and I still can tether with my nikon D850.

    Hi, I have the same problem, with nikon d750 and d850, they used to work perfectly and all of a sudden they don't. I restored lightroom preferences, my firmwares and softwares are updated.

    Hi there, I have the exact same issue with the same version of Lightroom Classic and the Nikon D750.  This is the first time I tried tethering in a long time so I could not tell if it has something to do with the Lightroom updates. Do you know if the problem started after the lastest update?

    Hi, sorry about the trouble with Lightroom Classic. 

    Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System info, and copy the text. You can paste it here as a reply or paste it into a text file and share the file with us.
