The cloud upload apparently gets stuck on one photo

Hello,
The cloud upload apparently gets stuck on one photo.
The upload runs endlessly, but the number of photos remaining to be uploaded (973) does not decrease. However, the log shows no error, and I also don’t know which photo it is stuck on.
What can be done in this case?

I have the newest LR Classic Version (14.5) on Windows.
I really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi @steffeng17137218

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please confirm the total number of photos you are trying to upload? You may also refer to this help article for troubleshooting: Fix sync issues in Lightroom and let us know if it helps.

If the issue persists, kindly check whether the upload works when attempted in smaller batches, and whether the same behavior occurs on a different network.

Regards,

Srishti

Thanks for your quick answer!

Your help article seems to be more for new LR than LR Classic which I'm using.
There I can't filter on the sync status and at lightroom.adobe.com there is no sync error folder and deleted folder is empty.
How can I cancel the files for upload?
Originally, I created a collection, enabled sync there, and added all the photos via drag & drop. However, only 2 photos are visible in the collection, and all the others seem to have been added to the upload queue, which appears to be stuck.
How do I cancel this?

Regards,

Steffen

Hey, @steffeng17137218. Thanks for the updates. Syncing from Lightroom Classic can take slightly longer if the images have sets of masks and complex edits.

You can also click on the Sync Icons next to each collection to pause/stop syncing.

If you can locate the collection in which these specific images are, start by adding flags/ratings or minor edits to the photos and adding them to a new collection. Then, wait for this collection to finish Synchronizing.

Also, in Lightroom's Library Module> go to Library from the top menu > select 'Find all missing photos' and make sure none of the images are in a missing state with a (!), or a rectangular shape on the grid view. As images that are missing their originals won't sync up to the cloud. Head here to learn more: https://adobe.ly/3UGCppR

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
