Hi, fellow Adobers,

ISSUE

I have a problem with getting my xmp presets copied from another machine to work. The Adobe Lightroom Classic CC does not show up the copied Presets folder.

STEPS

  1. Copy few Lightroom presets folders from Settings of another machine (folders inside has .xmp files)
  2. Paste the Lightroom presets folders to the Settings folder of the new machine (MAC OSX⁩ ▸ ⁨Users⁩ ▸ ⁨srivaramangai⁩ ▸ ⁨Pictures⁩ ▸ ⁨Lightroom⁩ ▸ ⁨Lightroom Settings⁩)
  3. Start Lightroom Classic CC

BEHAVIOR

  • Expected: The Lightroom presets are updated onto the Develop module in Lightroom CC
  • Current: The presets are not updated

SOFTWARE

  • Adobe Lightroom CC 8.1, Camera Raw 11.1, Build: 1200465
  • Mac OSX Mojave
