I can't turn on lightroom. No reaction. I tried renaming the SLCache and SLStore folders but I don't have them in Mac: System Library/Application Support/Adobe

I will add that photoshop works fine

Try logging into another Mac user account (you should make a new one); still not launching?
Try starting up in Safe mode (hold down Shift Key when booting*), still not launching?
* How to start your M1 Mac in Safe Mode
On your Mac, choose Apple menu () > Shut Down.
After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button until the startup disks and Options appear.
Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.

In the folder your catalog is in, does a lock file exist?

[yourcatalogname].lrcat.lock

GoldingD see i have something like this. But that's probably not the file you're looking for. Do you have any other idea where the problem is? I will add that lightroom classic works from the beginning.

Nope, no lock file in that screen capture. The file you circled is your catalog. You might want to double click on it and see if LrC starts.
