Tif + JPG in Lightroom Classic Catalog

Background: Many DSLR manufacturers have a feature that enables the customer to record an image in both Raw and JPG.When imported in the Lightroom catalog the two images appear as a single image with the extension Raw +JPG.  When that image is shown in File Explorer it appears as two separate images: 1 Raw and 1 JPG.Question: Does anyone know how in either Lightroom or Photoshop you can create a “Tif+JPG” where the image appears in Lightroom as a single file with the extension “Tif+JPG” and when that image is shown in File Explorer it appears as two separate images: 1 Tif and 1 JPG?Thank you for the assistance.

You can't, although Lightroom does seem to do this by mistake sometimes. The reason why there is no such option is simple. If a camera shoots raw+jpeg, then it sometimes makes sense to keep the jpeg as a sidecar for the raw file. Some cameras do not embed a full size preview. In that case the jpeg can be used for quick review instead of the too small embedded preview. That is what the preview import option 'Embedded + sidecar' means. AFAIK, there is no camera that can shoot TIFF+JPEG and a TIFF will normally have a full size preview, so treating a jpeg next to a tiff file as sidecar does not make much sense.
