Reduce the size in pixels and use zip compression

Thanks. I am trying to send files to Costco for print and their max is 95MB. One file I have is 144 MB. I tried two exports, last one at 40 pixels and the file is larger? I don’t know if they can accept a compressed file. At what point is a jpeg better?

For printing at costco, you will never be able to see the difference between a jpeg with quality > 80 and a tiff file. I have tested this extensively. There is no need to send them tiff.

For the very highest quality prints at costco (I use them a lot as they are superb and well priced), you should set up the export panel to export to the exact size you are printing at at 300 ppi resolution and use medium print sharpening for the type of paper you are printing on. Then (make sure you have installed the printing profiles costco provides for your specific costco at Digital photo lab profiles) export to the right costcto profile. Use photoshop or exiftool to strip the profile out of the files after the export although that is not strictly necessary but it helps lower your file size. I use a simple photoshop droplet that is called in the export in Lightroom to do this.

When uploading and printing, make sure to disable the automatic color correction.
