To Delete or Not to Delete. That is the question.

Question

Hi guys,

I have Lightroom Classic.

I noticed in my Applications folder the following files/folders:
Adobe Bridge 2022 thru 2025-4 folders,
Adobe Bridge 2022 thru 2025-4 folders,
Adobe Connect,

Adobe Creative Cloud,

Adobe InDesign 2022 thru 2025-4 folders,

Adobe Lightroom,

Adobe Lightroom CC,

Adobe Lightroom Classic,

Adobe Photoshop 2025,

Adobe Premiere Rush 2.0,

Adobe Reader 9.

So ... which to keep - or not?

And what's the ebest way to delete some of these folders?

If you only use Lightroom Classic, then use the Uninstall shortcut located in each of the folders you mention. The shortcut will launch the Creative Cloud App and give you an option to also delete the application preferences. The CC App will then begin the process of deleting the application.

If the folders are empty. then just drag them to the trash

You CANNOT reinstall the older versions of those apps. Just to be clear. Adobe only allows the current and one previous version to be installed. If you remove them, they are gone for good.

Bridge especially, v2022 is arguably a lot better than the newer releases.
