Trouble opening older Raw files in Classic

I'm working on a book, and want to render again some of the older raw files I opened in CS6 years ago.  

Lightroom Classic is not letting me for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found that if I opened them in another version of Lightroom I had on the computer, it would work. So problem solved.
