Trouble re-installing lightroom cc classic after Mac crashed

I had a MAC-crash in July 2017 that had nothing to do with my my by then running Lightroom 5. I did not need Lightroom until now. As I have a fully paid for Version 5 I do not want to pay for the cloud version. The next possible thing I could find is Lightroom cc classic, I believe. I succeeded to install the program and it works, but only in a test version. How can I convert it to a licensed version?

thanks for any answer

You license is for LR5 only - which is very old.

You can continue to use LR5 - download it from here: Download Photoshop Lightroom

Lightroom Classic CC (7) is available only as a subscription. If you want to continue using it you'll need to get a subscription.

Thanks for answering. I was able to reinstall Lightroom 5. But I can not license it. I had an ID for upgrading from Lightroom 4 to 5. I can see it on my account. But the newly installed Lightroom 5 does not accept it. Why is this?

Can I upgrade from Lightroom 5 to the recent cc-Versions?

    Thanks again for helping.

If your license code for LR5 is an upgrade code than it needs to see an older code as well to get accepted.

The latest version - LR Classic CC (7) - released just 2 weeks ago is only available on subscription and therefore there actually is no upgrade available.

LR6, which is the latest available with a standalone license (and available as upgrade for you) will only be supported until the end of this year, which is why I do not suggest to buy this upgrade.
