Question

Troubleshoot tethered capture in Lightroom on Windows

After linking the camera with the Lightroom program, selecting 'Linked Shooting'-'Linked Shooting' fails to import the photos into the library window on the computer.
Of course, when I took a picture.
However, remote shooting is possible through the control bar.

If you try the error solution provided by Adobe or uninstall and reinstall the program, nothing happens.
Moreover, not only me but also one of my colleagues has this phenomenon.

We have checked all 14 methods of 'Troubleshoot tethered capture'. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the tethering issuer with Lightroom, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom and Windows you're working on?

Also, what camera are you using?

As you've tried multiple troubleshooting steps, would you mind creating a new user account on Windows for testing purpose and then test if tether works in Lightroom on the new account? https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account

Regards,
Sahil

Thank you very much.
-The version of Lightroom and Windows: 9.1 release / windows 10 home
-Camera: canon EOS 1dx mark 2 / EOS 5D mark2
Also, after creating a new user in windows, the test results will be uploaded again.
