Trying to reinstall LR6 lost in pc crash. As a senior I am having a real problem

What would the problem be?

After a lot of time online I was able to upload lr 6 file however would not validate the 24 digit number I have for product.
They made it clear that there is no more help for this outdated product. I just want to reload what I lost in pc crash
