Trying to reinstall LR6

Question

Following a computer crash I am trying to reinstall LR6. I have been able to install the software but in order to open it, I need to activate the software. A pop up window asks me to sign in but when I attemp this I get the message that I am not connected to the internet and that I should reconnect.

LR6 running on Windows 8.1 (this is what was installed follow the crash).
