Two monitors, both LrC and gallery show up on det same monitor, even after changed settings

I have two monitors, The screens are extended.
As the main screen I have the right one and put the gallery on the left.

When I set the left one as the gallery screen, this setting is not saved.

Both the main program and the gallery are displayed on the right.

does this reset all may settings, if so how to backup and restore them?

I am sorry for the delay in responding to this thread. By resetting preferences, you start Lightroom with a clean slate. None of your user presets or templates are discarded. The content that I've shared provides other in-depth details.
