Unable to apply presets in Lightroom Classic Develop module (macOS)

Sorry about the trouble with presets in Lightroom Classic. We're here to help.

Could you please share the version of Lightroom (Help > About Lightroom) and the macOS version on your computer? Is it happening with particular image formats or any image? What type of previews is in use? Can you go into the Library module, apply the preset through Quick Develop, and let us know if that helps? 

Did you try re-installing the application?

You can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e.

Please backup your presets prior to resetting the preferences.
