Question

Unable to create folders

I just got my new Mac Mini M4 Pro in today! Everything went well with installation except for Lightroom. I keep getting prompts that Lightroom cannot create folders, however the permissions have been granted for it.

Also inside of the develop module the images don't sync together, after some time paste develop settings did not work.

The bottom strip also did not always move with the images or keys I was pressing. Just very glitchy throughout. It wasn't slow, it was actually pretty fast, just non-responsive, I had to keep toggling between develop module and Library module.

Importing new images was fine, no issues there.

Going back to my old computer for now 😞

Hi, thanks for reaching out to the Adobe Community!

Are you trying to create the folder on an external drive or your computer's internal storage?

Please add Lightroom Classic to Accessibility and Full Disk Access for macOS using the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/3OgFEkz;

Though the steps suggested in the thread are for Photoshop, they should work for Lightroom Classic as well.

Let us know if this helps!
Thanks,
Nikunj
