Unable to Create or Rename Collections After Catalog Update in Lightroom Classic

Apologies for the delayed response. I’m hopeful that the issue has been resolved by now. If you’re still unable to create new collections or rename existing collections in Lightroom Classic, please update to the latest version, Lightroom Classic 15.5, and check if the issue persists.

If the issue continues, please try resetting Lightroom Classic preferences manually after creating a backup and restarting the application. If that doesn’t help, please share the following information with us:

• Lightroom Classic System Info: go to Help > System Info, copy the information, and paste it into your reply
• A screen recording showing what happens when you try to create or rename a collection
• Any error message you receive
