Unable to delete rejected images.

When I flag images as Rejected and then go to Photo in top menu toolbar. I have a Delete Rejected Photos option.

But it only removes the images from the catalogue not from the disk.

I have seen this done on YouTube but my options are different.

All my software is up to date.

Are you in a collection when you do Photo > Delete Rejected Photos? In that case, the command removes the photos from the collection but not from the catalog. You'll need to be in All Photographs or a folder for Delete Rejected Photos to delete from disk.
