I am using Lightroom Classic, as I have for years and all of the sudden I am getting an error when trying to export that reads

"Unable to Export:

An internal error has occurred: Error: database is locked (error code 5) Statement: UPDATE Adobe_variablesTable SET value=?, type=?, WHERE name=?;

    Has this been fixed?  I am now having the exact same problem with my Mac system. This is very worrying!

    Applicable to both posts, please provide some basic info about the Adobe application you are using including the actual version number. Also the Operating System version number you are using.

    @DdeGannes Thank you for your help and sharing the needed information to help. I have included the information below. Not sure if these are the same issues as the OP

    • Adobe Product:Lightroom Classic 12.01 Release
    • Operating System: macOS Ventura 13.0.1
    • Error Message:

      Error: database is locked (error code 5) Statement:  UPDATE Adobe_variablesTable SET value=?, type=? WHERE name=?;

    • When it occured: Took image from lighroom and did an "edit in photoshop". Completed those edits, saved, and the image did not save back into lightroom as a tiff like it normally does. Went to import said tiff that was located on the external harddrive where the initial import for original images into lightroom were, and lighroom "froze". This error appears and when I hit ok I am unable to do anything with lightroom but a force quit.
    • I have attached a screen shot of hardware overview.
