Unable to Export JPEG from Lightroom Classic

Question

I have problems exporting JPEGs in LightRoom Classic release 13.3 on a MacMini with the M2 chip and 16 GB of memory. The operating system is Sonoma 14.5

I initiailly tried to export 62 photos from a collection as JPEG files. Three photos exported (not the first three and not in sequence) and then there was no progress. after a half hour I stopped the process and tried to export just one of the images and got the same result. I have uninstalled and reinstalled LRC. And I have disabled the GPU.

Another problem has developed, when I select the people view from the Library menu it jumps to a screen that says loading, but then nothing happens. Any suggestions?

There are several recent messages about exports not finishing. I don't know if a solution has been found because I haven't read those threads. I suggest you search for them.
