unable to import anything anymore - infinite loading

I cant import ANY photos anymore.. No matter which folder i choose in the import dialogue - i only see a little spinning animation in the bottom left and no file appears in the main window of the dialogue..

I already had problems in the last days with trying to import files from my iCloud, but since the update today, no files showes uo anymore...

 

any idea ?

Glad to see I am not the only one with thi new problem.

I would add - LR-C starts the import and makes a temp file in the correct folder.  Then is stops.  The temp folder has part of the image in it.  After using multiple SD cards, inouts etc, I agree that:

   *this looks to be an SD card communication problem with LR.   Any SD card, in any reader, that I havve tried does not work.  Copying the files to a TEMP file on the computer is a pain, but works.

   *I have few other things attached to my computer [2002 MacMini, so I doubt IO overload.

   *I have seen no solution to date.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. It happened suddenly and no matter how long I wait, not even a photo wants to import... 

 

Is this screen sufficient for you? If not, please let me know!

I am having the same problem starting 2 days ago.  I can't import any photos from an external harddrive or an SD card.  When I click on a "source" the screen stays empty and no thumbnails.  Just spinning animation at bottom of import box.

I have restarted the computer and LR numerous times.

Please show us a screen capture of the entire Import dialog box. Use the "Insert Photos" icon to include the screen capture in your reply. Do NOT attach files.
