Unable to import files

Lightroom Classic won't let me import files from my external hard drive. It recognizes the files I've already imported, but won't import any new ones. I can import from my computer, just not the external hard drive. I've tried shutting down and restarting the computer.

Macs have increased security required settings, see info at the link. Provide full disk access to Lightroom Classic.
