Unable to install Lightroom Classic on my MacBook Air

Hello. I run LR Classic 13.1 on my mini mac running Sonoma 14.3.1. I now have a new to me MacBook Air running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 which I would like to install LR Classic 13.1 on. I downloaded the Creative Cloud & Lightroom Classic installer on the MacBook but I am unable to complete the installation. The installer has seemingly stalled out and will not complete the installation. There is a window displayed which shows:

Account authentication

Enter your system password when prompted to install Lightroom Classic on your computer.

After 2-1/2 hours I have never been prompted to for my system password and LR Classic has not been installed.

Does someone have any idea of what is going on with this?

Thank you for any help.

A bit confused. Are you saying that you cannot install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App?

Hi. I found out that I was unable to install LR Classic on my MacBook Air because I did not yet have Monterey 12 installed. I am now installing it.

Thank you for responding to my question.

Lightroom Classic 13 requires macOS 12 or later see the screen capture for requirements.
