Unable to launch Lightroom Classic CC since yesterday

Since yesterday, I am unable to launch Lightroom Classic CC, which was otherwise working fine earlier.

The application is installed on a Mac Pro 5,1 running Mac OSX 10.13.6

I had changed my RAID drive which contained all the data, separate from a boot drive which has all the applications, into individual drives and copied data from backup.

Since then, when I launch LR classic CC, the icon appears briefly in the bottom apps bar and disappears. Tried a number of times. Signed out and signed in again in Adobe Creative Cloud with no success.

Will appreciate help in solving this problem.

Thanks

Gautam

Have you tried to deactivate the GPU support?

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" and the restart Lightroom.

If Lightroom doesn't start correctly please refer Solution 2 in the linked document.

Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

What has been changed on your system before the error occurs?

Dear Tony and Axel,

Many thanks for your comments and help. However, LR has now been working fine after 3-4 days of frustrating crashes. Not sure what happened. Maybe the new update did the trick.

Just for the sake of the record, I was trying to launch as usual, by clicking the LR icon.

I did not havto deactivatete GPU.

Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply.

I  reset the preferences as described in method 2 and then restarted the machine and launched LR. This time it went one step ahead up to the main LR flash screen and then nothing.

Also realised that I am also unable to launch Adobe Bridge. But Photoshop works fine. Not sure if there is any link  _Camera RAW.
