Unable to trash files

Macbook pro, LRC version 13.5.1.         Sequoia 15.0

My usual way of working is to edit images from the import folder then, attributes > filter for uneditted files> select all > delete from disc.

Today the process goes through the normal sequence and the progress bar completes. I then get the pop up

The file named “DSC_2866.NEF” could not be moved to the Trash folder

Any ideas?

This is a somewhat common discussion in the community with MACOS and Trash. You can find several discussions if you search. As such this is not a Bug (with Adobe,) but an item for discussion. It also involves a bit of as designed behavior in MACOS, so Apple will see it as not a bug.

Ohh, and apparently a moderator moved your post to discussions, while I was about to add a link.

Moving on, see:

One additional point, Sequoia 15.0, You are an early user of that new MACOS, As such, you get to be a tester. Adobe has not yet officially stated support for Sequoia 15.0 in LrC, or Lr, or PS, or anything? So do not be surprised if many things fail. As for when Adobe will accomplish that? Unknown, they do not share such info with us common customers. Will it be at the next LrC update? Unknown, and the history on such is not good.
