Unable to Upgrade LR Classic Catalog from v.13-3

When I try to upgrade my LR Classic Catalogue from v. 13-3—as required in order to keep using this application—I get a spinning disk and have to force quit. I have done this a number of times. I have tried restarting my computer which didn't change the outcome. I'm on a Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1. I've been using LR for many years, have upgraded many times, and this has never happened before. I have another catalogue which is working just fine. Any suggestions for fixing this problem? Thanks!

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails,check your specs, https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html

I'm unable to upgrade a catalogue of LR V-13-3 to V-13-4. Whenever I try to upgrade, I get the spinning ball and it won't stop until I hit option command escape. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2019 running Sonomo 14.6.1. I have been able to upgrade other catalogues of LR V-13-3 to V-13-4. Any suggestions?

if that fails, restart your computer and retry.

Thank you. I opened the LR Classic app and selected the proper catalogue, then did what you suggested and all that happens is a repeating noise as long as I hold those three keys down. I restarted and the same thing happens. Any other suggestions?

@Jonathan316

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to the LR Classic forum.
